At St Peter’s we strive to ensure that every child leaves us ready for the future; equipped with the skills, qualities and values they need to pursue a life of fulfilment and happiness.  Our children embrace their learning, discover their talents and explore how to make a positive contribution to society.  We convey compassion to our children whilst rigorously holding them to high standards and we are passionate about how young children learn, how confidence, self-esteem, self-belief and emotional intelligence underpin success for our children in the wider sense. 

Part of the value of school is that it provides the opportunity to experience and learn to cope in a wider social environment.  Children learn to relate well to other people, to appreciate points of view that differ from their own, they learn to share, to be tolerant and to care for others, to be honest, reliable and show concern for each other and their property, to value other cultures and other people’s rights to their beliefs.

We see children as individuals with differing needs and strengths.  We aim to provide a supportive, positive, caring and safe Christian environment in which our children enjoy access to a wide curriculum which is stimulating and engaging and supports all children to achieve their full potential and celebrate their successes.
